I Saw The Film RAGTIME In The 11th Grade In Cincinnati-My Hometown. Witnessing The Late, Great HOWARD ROLLINS Play COALHOUSE WALKER JR. Planted The Dream Of Wanting To Find A Way To Somehow Become A Working Actor! Now After Having Performed Coalhouse With THE CINCINNATI POPS, THE BOSTON POPS, THE ORIGINAL PRE-BROADWAY COMPANY, Opening THE 1ST NATIONAL TOUR And Closing THE ORIGINAL BROADWAY COMPANY With My Pic Outside Of The Theatre And Featured On The Last ORIGINAL CAST POSTER, Starred Opposite TONY WINNERS-AUDRA MCDONALD, HEATHER HEADLEY, LA CHANZE And TONY NOMINEE DARLECIA CEARCY, I’d Thought ALL Of My RAGTIME Dreams Had Come True! Little Did I Know That THE UNIVERSE Had Another One To Reveal. I Never Dreamed Of Directing A Show, Especially A Mammoth Musical Like RAGTIME, But Thankfully My Longtime Friend Marc Robin Asked Me And Something Bigger Than Me Said Yes! Thank You Marc For Nurturing Me Throughout This Process! Thank You Lorna Ventura For Your Fantastic Choreography And All That I Have Learned From You! Thank You Sam Butts! Thank You Liz Patton For Your Incredible Stage Management And For Answering My Same Questions Over And Over Again! Thank You Sam Bagala For Your Patient Musical Prowess!
